four-half-stars

I’m your classic skirt chaser. A womanizer. A total d*ck. My reputation is dirtier than a New Orleans street after a Mardi Gras parade. I take unwinnable cases and win them. Where people see defeat, I see a big fat paycheck. And when most men see rejection, it’s because the sexiest woman at the bar has already promised to go home with me.
But Scarlett Carmichael is the one person I can’t seem to conquer. This too-cool former debutante has it allβ€”class, attitude, and a body that begs to be worshipped. I’ve never worked with a person like her beforeβ€”hell, I’ve never played nice with anyone before in my life, and I’m not about to start with her. This woman wasn’t meant to be played nicely with. It’s going to be dirty. It’s going to be hot. She’s about to spend a lot of time with the biggest d*ck in town. And she’s going to love every minute of it…

I am so glad I picked the Bad Bitch series to read and Total D*ck has been by far my favorite book in the series.

Kennedy Granade is a successful lawyer like his brothers he just shows it a different way. Β His priorities are drinking, the ladies, more drinking and then maybe the law. Β His reputation of being a total d*ck proceeds him and he is totally ok with that. Β To the point, he almost loses the most locative case that falls into his lap.

Scarlett Carmicheal has a lot to prove, an associate at one of the most prestigiousΒ law firms in New Orleans she is trying to make her name in a boys club, being a debutante in New Orleans society doesn’t help her make the case. Β She has been requested by her senior partner to reach out to Kennedy for help in a corporate hacking case worth millions she knows that this can make her career. Β The problem is that Kennedy is not someone she generally associates with and she doesn’t want to now. Β Especially when he does things to her in the most public places, things a form debutante should never do.

Out of the 3 books, Kennedy and Scarlett are my favorite couple. Β The way they push each other’s buttons, learn to first tolerateΒ each other and then learn that love comes from the most unexpected places was well done throughout the book. Β Told in dual POV similar to the first three books was again great insight that Ms. Saunders let us glimpse into. Β The epilogue ties up the story well though I would have liked to have some closer to Linc and Wash’s history rather than just a few sentences. Β Other than that I loved this book and series!

Again if you are looking for a fun summer series don’t look to far, the Bad Bitch series is perfect.
