As Cody Brennan, he finally feels safe and wants to write new music and forget about his tragic past, but an accident nearly ruins everything.

Her family thinks she should curb her feelings, and worries about her safetyβbut she worries about her heart.
From her amber eyes to her tempting smile, Megan is everything Cody promised himself to avoid. The more he gets to know her, the more he wants to stay. When his past begins to catch up to him in the form of violent threats, will they stay safe long enough to fall in love?

This was a great beginning to a new series. Cody was in a band but now is running trying to escape his past. He has let his hair grow out and looks much like a bum. He enters Megan’s florist shop mumbling and collapses on the floor. Megan catches a glimpse of his blue eyes and is drawn to him. She visits him at the hospital and sparks begin to ingite between the two. Megan has family that likes to meddle and this throws some interesting encounters into the story. This story was well written and was a page turner, I could not get enough and hated to see the story end. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
