New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh continues her Rock Kiss series with a hot, sweet, emotional contemporary romance about love and forgiveness…
After a lifetime of longing for a real family, Sarah Smith thought she’d finally found her home with rock star Abe Bellamy, even if she knew Abe didn’t love her the way she loved him. But their brief relationship, filled with tragedy and heartache, nearly destroyed her. Alone, emotions in turmoil, and already shaky self-esteem shattered, Sarah struggles to pick up the pieces in the wake of their divorce.
Abe knows he’s to blame for the end of his marriage. Caught in a web of painful memories, he pushed away the best thing in his life – the sexy, smart woman he adores – breaking them both in the process. Then fate throws him a second chance to get things right, to prove to Sarah that she means everything to him. Abe desperately wants that second chance at love...even if he knows he doesn’t deserve it.
But can he convince Sarah – now strong and independent without him – to risk her wounded heart one more time?

This is an emotional, sweet story about a hard-living rocker who tries to win his ex-wife back. Abe is the keyboardist for the rock group Schoolboy Choir. When he was married to Sarah he ruined their marriage with his drug and alcohol use and never letting Sarah know how much he really cared. Now, two years later, Abe wants Sarah back and he is willing to do whatever it takes to prove to her how much he has changed. Sarah doesn’t believe Abe or trust him. Even though she still loves him she is afraid he will only hurt her again. He hurt her her too many times during their marriage and then he left her to fend for herself.
I really liked these two together and thought they had a lot of chemistry. They are both vulnerable and had tragedies in their pasts. So even though they are good together, they are afraid to let go and fall in love. Abe is tormented and he tries hard to be a better person for Sarah because he loves her so much and he is willing to do anything to be with her again.
This the fourth book in the Rock Kiss series and I have read and enjoyed all the books in this series. This story has a lot of entertaining secondary characters that add to the story and it was fun catching up with the the guys in the band and their significant others.
