He thinks he caused her pain, but she knows he’s the only one who can heal her…
Kenna Sloane lost her career and her arm in the Marines, and now she feels like she’s losing herself. Submission is the only thing that ever freed her from pain and made her feel secure, and Kenna needs to serve again. Bad. The only problem is the Dom she wants once refused her submission and broke her heart, but, scarred on the inside and out, she’s not looking for love this time. She’s not even sure she’s capable.
Griffin Hudson is haunted by the mistakes that cost him the only woman he ever loved. Now she’s back at his BDSM club, Blasphemy, and more beautiful than ever, and she’s asking for his help with the pain he knows he caused. Even though he’s scared to hurt her again, he can’t refuse her, because he’d give anything to earn a second chance. And this time, he’ll hold on forever.

Laura Kaye is a one click author for me so when she decided to dive into BDSM romance, I dove in with her. I loved the Hard To Serve novella where we were first introduced to Blasphemy, the club that Griffin and the other Masters own. Master Griffin gets a brief introduction in Hard to Serve and we find out that he is a man living in the past. He is haunted by a woman but you have no idea why it didn’t work out.
In Bound to Submit, we are introduced to Kenna Sloane who recently lost her arm while serving our country in the Marines. She has become a motivational speaker by happenstance. She feels like a fraud and her life seems to moving nowhere fast. She realizes that the last time she truly felt free was as a submissive before she enlisted in the Marines. She was a member of Blasphemy where she met Griffin and they paired off and became a couple for over a year. Unfortunately, Kenna confessed her feelings and Griffin didn’t feel the same. Kenna knows that if she goes back to Blasphemy, she may run into Griffin. What Kenna doesn’t know is that Griffin regrets the day he let her walk out of his life. Can he earn her trust back and possibly have a future with her?
Laura Kaye does a fantastic job at combining their lifestyles with serious emotional issues and shows how it can all work to healing an individual and even a couple. This book flew by and I wanted the next one to start immediately. There are quite a few Masters to work through so this series will be enjoyable for a good long window of time. I love second chance romances and this one kept the pages turning. Griffin and Kenna were two people that cared deeply for each other in the past and were willing to work their way back to each other no matter how painful.
