From the author of Fly with Me and the Capital Confessions Novels comes the newest in the sexy Wild Aces Romance series.

Thor shows Becca that he’s no longer the impulsive boy he used to be, and Becca finds herself irresistibly drawn to him. But will Thor be able to walk away from his dream of flying the F-16 for their love or does his heart belong to the sky?

I love this series about sexy fighter pilots and I was immediately immersed into this story and it held my interest until the last page.  This is the second installment in the Wild Aces series and it is a second chance at love.  The characters share a lot of chemistry and are easy to connect with and the story is told from alternating POVs, so I was able to understand what they are both thinking and feeling.  Each of the books in this series is a standalone, although all the characters are interconnected.

Eric and Becca dated in high school and throughout college and were planning to marry, until Eric left to join the Air Force. While Eric was learning to become a fighter pilot, Becca attended law school.  Now, ten years later, Eric returns to his hometown to win back the girl he never stopped loving. This is an emotional story of two people who were together years ago and when they meet again, they realize they still care about each other.

I really liked Eric and Becca.  Today they are in their thirties and have achieved their dreams.  However, they feel as if something is missing in their lives and miss the love and connection they had with each other.  Eric is cocky and confident and yet he is vulnerable when it comes to Becca.  He has a sensitive side and he loves Becca so much, he will do anything to show her how much he still cares. They each start to question what they want and wonder if it possible to be together again.

Becca is independent and smart. She is living her dream of being an attorney and still living in the small town she grew up in.  Even though she has never stopped loving Eric, it takes her a while to learn to trust him again.

I enjoyed this story about Eric and Becca and I also found it entertaining to read about all his hot pilot friends. They act as one big family; they care about each other and also enjoy giving each other a hard time.  A pilot’s job is dangerous and the life isn’t easy. They are constantly moving and never know when they will be sent to the Middle East.  Eric is a risk taker and Becca is not and they have to learn to compromise if they want to be together.
