Never disobey the court. Never disobey the crown. And never tame that vicious heart. In A Vow of Thorns, sacred laws are broken when a beauty holds an iron heart.

Oh R. Scarlett, how you broke my heart with this one and having me waiting somewhat impatiently for the final book.
Tensley and Molly find themselves in the exact position they didn’t want to be in. Β Summoned the King’s court, Tensley makes the decision that Molly must come with him so he can protect her and his people at the same time. Β But these two walk into a power struggle and have to decide who they can trust.
I spent most of my time with this book on the edge of my seat. Β I wasn’t sure what was going to happen next and if the big secret Tensley and Molly were keeping was going to get out. Β But the author doesn’t leave out the sexy time with this couple. Β The pact Molly’s family enter into with Tensley finally happens, but it’s not done out of obligation. Β No matter what lead them to finally marry, you knew these two were together for love (whether they both say those three words or not).
A lot happens in this book. Β Power changes hands and new foes appear. Β And at the end, R. Scarlett throws us one hell of a cliffhanger. Β I’m not sure how Tensley and Molly come back from what happened, but I have to believe in the end love is going to conquer.

About The Author
R. Scarlett lives in a small quaint town in Southern Ontario, Canada and has an unhealthy obsession with mythology and romance.
From studying English literature and minoring in History, she loves losing herself in a good book and snuggling up to her Brittany Spaniel. When she’s not writing or plotting a delicious novel, she can be found hanging out with friends and family, going on long car rides, exploring small towns, or watching reruns of Sex and the City.
