New Release: Win Big by Kelly Jamieson

In this third installment of the Wynn series, we get to spend time with “aunt” Everly. She is roughly the same age as Theo and JP (the heros from the first 2 books), but she is the daughter of their Grandfather from his second marriage.

Everly is a slightly different heroine, on the outside she is calm, cool, and collected. On the inside she’s a mess and that mess is tied up in multiple issues from her childhood/teenage years. Everly is a prime example of “don’t make assumptions.” She is paired with Wyatt, a player on her father’s hockey team. Wyatt is a prime example of still waters run deep and a remarkable character to get to know.

I really liked Everly and Wyatt together. Both characters needed to grow emotionally and they are the unexpected catalysts for that to happen. For Everly, we also see growth in the family front as well as the romantic experience. It was nice to see rifts that we have been following for the two previous books start to potentially heal.

Win Big is a solid addition to the Wynn series. It is technically a stand alone, but the back story contained in the first two books supports this story and makes it much more robust. I am enjoying this series and curious about which of the Wynn’s we will see next.
