4.25 stars for a sweet hockey read
In this sweet “Only” spin off, we get to spend time with Candace (sister of Evan for loyal Ms Madison readers) and Ralph, a hockey player/single dad to an infant daughter.
I was a little uncertain about how the single dad element was going to play out here, but was thrilled to see Ms Madison handle it in a way that was both graceful and allowed us to root for Ralph to find a happy ever after.
Candace was an easy character to like. It was entertaining to see her interact with her brother, clients, friends, and more. I especially loved seeing her interactions with niece, Zoey, and with Ralph’s daughter, Ari.
Only One Kiss was a book that I enjoyed from the time I picked it up and I couldn’t put it down. Ralph and Candace have a sweet and romantic story that pulled me in and I am looking forward to seeing more of the series as some of the secondary characters here get their chances. If you have been following Ms. Madison’s hockey books from the beginning, you will be thrilled with some of the cameo appearances, but don’t worry if you are a new reader, this book is a complete standalone.
Release Date: September 1
From USA Bestseller Natasha Madison comes a brand new Hockey series The Only One.
Being traded to Dallas was a dream come true. I had everything I wanted, my game had never been better, and my wife was due to have our baby any day now.
