I wasn’t really sure what to expect when going into Jed and Molly’s story. Seeing how Jed behaved during the Summer Bash novella had me on the fence as the wether or not I was going to be able to embrace him as a leading man.
I appreciated the fact that the duo behind Piper Rayne backed things up a bit so we could see Jed and Molly interact before the big party blow out.
The more I got to know both Jed and Molly the more I liked them. Both characters come to the story with plenty of baggage, but seemed to be excellent about helping each other work through it (or calling it out, whichever works).
One of the dangers of a series like the Greene’s is the sheer size of the secondary cast and how many people readers are asked to managed. The authors do this very well here. While you see a lot of names, the siblings actually involved in the story are limited to those who really make an impact.
This is another well written, fun book by this duo and I am looking forward to seeing what’s next for the Greene family.
I broke the cardinal rule and slept with my sister’s best friend.
Granted, I’d just found out that I was now a single father to a three-year-old little girl and was low on willpower.
It should also be noted that there’s been sexual tension between us for years. There’s no way it would be a surprise if anyone in our small town found out. That is if we were telling people, which we’re not.
We’re in agreement to keep our affair a secret, especially since neither one of us do relationships.
You’ve probably figured it out already, but things didn’t go as planned.
