In this second installment to the Insiders Series, Kash and Bailey continue to try to outwit Kash’s grandfather while Bailey tries to figure out where she fits into her new circumstances.

I loved how Bailey grew in this one. What she and Kash had to deal with was dark and full of drama, but I loved when it was Baily trying to figure out how she fits in with her graduate school classmates, build her relationship with her siblings and figure out how she felt about Chrissy and Peter. It was a lot, but she truly started embracing friends and family. It became apparent that she was going to need those friends as the middle book storyline unfolded.

The overarching storyline isn’t shocking as it continued with the pursuit of the demise of Calhoun Bastien. Poor Kash can’t figure out who is friend or foe in this mess, but the true nature of what’s happening in start to unravel and it’s going to be interesting to see how this all falls out.
