What could possibly go wrong fake dating the gorgeous single dad in a small town?

The answer, you fall for him.

It started out perfect. Grady Whitlock needed a plus one for his business meetings, and I needed a date for a wedding.

We had a plan. It was a good one.

Until it wasn’t.

I was not supposed to have feelings for him. I was not going to let my heart race when his soulful blue eyes stared into mine. No way should I have noticed his smile or the dimple on his right cheek or his strong arms when he held me close. I especially wasn’t going to melt when I saw him play with my daughter.

Most of all I was not going to sleep with him.

Nope. None of that was supposed to happen, but it does.

Now I find myself dreaming of him every night. Wishing we were really a couple because the way he kisses me doesn’t feel as if it’s pretend.

But we’ve both watched our dreams shatter, and I can’t handle another broken heart.

Who has been waiting for Addison’s story??Β  πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ.Β  And boy did she ever get a story in Sugarloaf!

If anyone was going to give two people who have lost a spouse and raising a little one, it’s Corinne Michaels.Β  With the humor, spice and angst readers I’ve come to look forward to in a CM contemporary romance, Addison and Grady get the HEA they deserve.

Addison moved to Sugarloaf three years ago to get away from the ghost of her murdered husband, Isaac.Β  As much as she loves her family and friends, she needed to go to a place where she could be Addison, build a stable life for her daughter, Elodie, and heal.Β  Grady needed to move to Sugarloaf to be around his family, get his business off the ground and give his son, Jett, the life his wife had wanted to raise him in.Β  But life doesn’t seem to understand the timeline they’ve given themselves.Β  With pressure from their family/friends and potential business partners, what harm could come from faking a relationship?

Famous last words!

Despite their vow otherwise, it was easy to see that Grady and Addison were perfect for each other.Β  They quickly developed an easy friendship that became the basis of everything else that was to come.Β  Their chemistry was off the charts.Β  All of this made it so easy to start rooting for them to be brave enough to reach for their HEA.Β  Everyone around them saw what they tried to deny (one denying it soooo much longer than the other), but it made the moment when that light bulb go off so much sweeter.

This is the perfect weekend read.Β  Grab it, a nice beverage and your blanket.Β  Snuggle up and fall in love with Grady and Addison.
