This is one of those KU finds where you ask yourself why you didn't find it sooner. i adored the series. If you enjoy enemies to lovers, found family and fated mates, you are going to want to pick this up.

Prisca was raised to fear her magic an keep it hidden. When the worst happens, she's forced to flee her village and hope her brother's friend in the city can help her. What she discovers is nothing is what she had been told and she is so much more than the village seer's daughter.

Prisca does a lot of growing up through the 3 books, but she's had to go through that journey to finally step into the role she was meant to have (even if she's still trying to deny it). Lorian helps her with that, at first taunting her but then becoming that voice in her head needed to push forward).

The love story between Lorian and Prisca was not an easy journey. Both of them were fighting everything they felt for a long time, but when they both decided to give in they really became the perfect team.

The fourth and final book in the series comes out 5/30. I'm clearing the deck that day so I can find out how this ends.
