Shannon loves a great British hero and when discovered Isabelle Richards’ Fates Series, she discovered the very British, very sexy Gavin. Β From the first pages of WHEN FATES COLLIDE, she discovered a new favorite author in Isabelle Richards, who is next Top Shelf Favorite Author.

How did you discover Isabelle Richards?

Isabelle was another author I discovered through a blog tour. The blurb for WHEN FATES COLLIDE sounded intriguing (and there was a British hero…score!), so I quickly signed up. What I found with WHEN FATES COLLIDE was a book that I loathed to put down, a hero with a delicious British accent and a need to be competitive is just about everything, and a heroine who had to figure out who she was and what she wanted to be.

What is it about this author and their books that have your coming back for more?

Gavin. I’m not going to lie. Gavin was the honey that kept this fly dying to find out what was going to happen next. Despite tremendous wealth, a very demanding high profile job and super model good looks, Gavin was the most down to earth, humble man. He could make you hot with his dirty talking British mouth, get a little emotional when he was sharing his feelings and swoon each time he showed his alpha maleness.

What’s your favorite book of Isabelle Richards’? Β Why?

I think WHEN FATE ISN’T ENOUGH is my favorite. Why, because Isabelle Richards showed us a different side to Gavin. A darker, angsty, sometimes too moody for his own good, Gavin. Despite knowing his backstory, Isabelle showed us that Gavin wasn’t truly over what happened in his past. Just as Lily was haunted by hers, Gavin was by his as well…and not handling things as nicely as he’s lead everyone to believe. This book gave depth to an already solid character and made it really hard not to fall a little bit harder for the man.
